Stephanie Levy was born and raised in California. She attended University of San Francisco and received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then attended California State University Long Beach and received her Master’s degree in Social Work. After moving to Omaha in 2006 she began working for Alegent Health/CHI before moving into private practice in July of 2016.
Stephanie began seeing first responders in 2012 and fell in love with working with this population. She enjoys being able to be more straight forward in her approach and loves their dark sense of humor. She has had the opportunity to be trained and mentored by some of the best in the field and now enjoys sharing her knowledge with clinicians learning to work with this population.
Stephanie volunteers her time and is on the board of directors for the First Responders Support Network – West Coast Post Trauma Retreat. She is the lead clinician of Midwest retreats and helped bring the retreats from CA to the Midwest.
Stephanie is also the Co-Director of FRST (First Responder Support Team) which is part of First Responders Foundation. They provide pro-active treatment for first responders in the Omaha metro area.
Stephanie is a member of professional organizations EMDRIA and NASW.
Stephanie has been practicing yoga regularly for the past 8 years and is a registered yoga teacher. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and her poorly behaved goldendoodle.
